Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using this website or purchasing from us. By accessing, using or purchasing from our website you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We offer products for sale through our website. These products are intended for private domestic use only (not commercial use).
Products listed in the category pages are for sale. Archived products may be visible but are not availale to purchase.
Our base currency is £GBP and is inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate. All other currencies are calculated daily using an exchange rate, so product prices are subject to daily fluctuations due to currency exchange rates.
We reserve the right to alter the advertised price of an item at any time. The price you pay will be the price in displayed on our website at the time of your order.
We try to ensure prices displayed on our website are correct at all times. Should a pricing error arise, we will inform you as soon as possible. If a product’s correct price has increased, then we will offer you the option to cancel the order and receive a full refund, or pay the difference due and proceed with the order.
If you find the same product cheaper elsewhere, or if the product price is reduced within 7 days, please contact us and ask for a price match. Price match is for the delivered price of an in-stock item only.
We offer the ability to purchase products in-stock in our warehouse(s) for immediate delivery. Items are normally delivered within 5-14 working days. Deliveries can take up to 21 days.
Pre-order’s may be only available on a limited number of items being manufactured and imported ready for distribution.
A 10% desposit is taken during checkout to reserve your item. 90% settlement is due before the item is dispatched to you.
If you cancel your order, then your 10% deposit will be non-returnable due to costs incurred.
Settlement payments can be made online in your customer account. If you miss your final settlement date we reserve the right to cancel your order and re-sell the item.
“Payment is made online via our secure online checkout with credit/debit card or paypal. We will confirm your order by email confirmation to the email address you supply at time of order. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact us to ensure your order has been accepted.
We also take phone orders and accept bank transfers for international orders or collections. Orders are never dispatch until full payment has been received.
To protect you from fraud please never ever send us your card payment details via email or live chat. To protect us from fraud, Selwood Products is entitled to refuse any order placed at our discretion. We reserve the right to obtain validation and verification of the authenticity of your credit or debit card details before providing you with any products or services.
Delivery costs vary per product and for each country, region and postcode. Delivery charges are shown using the delivery checker on product pages, and are clearly displayed during checkout before you make payment.
Over 20kg (1-Man Kerbside Delivery) – You will be contacted within 7-14 days to book a delivery day. One driver will be present and may need assistance with offloading. A signature will be required by an authorised adult. Delivery can take place between 7am-7pm.
Under 20kg (48hr Courier) – One man coureir delivery. They will normally text confirmation of your delivery day and offer alternatives if not convenient. A signature will be required.
We offer a collection service from our designated pick-up points. These pick-up locations will be shown as options when you checkout.
Once your order payment is complete we will dispatch your item to the pick-up warehouse. When it arrives the warehouse will contact you directly to inform you it’s ready to collect.
Damaged or Missing Parts
Shortages (missing boxes) and damages should be noted on the consignment note. Please inform us within 24 hours of the delivery.
Missing or damaged parts should be reported via our parts claim form https://www.selwood.com/parts or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. Claims will be assessed by our parts team, who will send replacements within 72 working hours. This is limited to one free consignment per order.
Cancellation & Returns
“You may cancel your order and return the product at any point up to 7 days after delivery (starting the day following the delivery day).
It is your responsibility to return the item to us at your cost. At your request we can arrange for a courier to collect the goods from you, but it will be your responsibility to cover these costs.
You have a duty of to take reasonable care of goods whilst in your possession. Damages or missing components (excluding those notified to us) will be chargeable.
We request items be returned unused, in original packaging and fit for resale.
Refunds will be processed back via the payment method used to purchase the product(s).
If we have been requested to collect the goods from you, or if items are returned with missing/damaged components then the refund will be subject to a reduction equivalent to the costs incurred to make good.
Where exchange rates of currency are involved, the refund will be made in £GBP at the current exchange rate. We do not accept responsibility for any loss or gain caused by changes in the exchange rate between the time of ordering and the time of issuing the refund.
